About this path

The town-centre riverside park whose Regatta Meadow and common paths sit on the Great Ouse floodplain just above St Neots bridge. The park deliberately acts as a floodplain and went fully under in the January 2024 Storm Henk flood; its paths have since been rebuilt with flood-mitigation swales.
