About this path

The shared-use towpath along the lower Cam from Midsummer Common past Stourbridge Common towards Fen Ditton — the rowing-coach and commuter route out of Cambridge. The adjoining commons are the Cam's urban floodplain: the reach below Jesus Lock has flooded repeatedly, with boathouses inundated in the 2000–02 floods.
