About this path
The Taff Trail runs along the river past Ynysangharad War Memorial Park in the middle of Pontypridd. The riverside section flooded badly in Storm Dennis — a record 5.32 m on the Pontypridd gauge — and again in Storm Bert in November 2024, when debris buried the paths and the park closed for weeks of clean-up.
