About this path

Brecon's traditional riverside walk along the north bank of the Usk west of the town bridge, with a boathouse and riverside gardens. The river gauge stands on the promenade itself, and the walk floods when the Usk runs high — it went under in Storm Franklin in February 2022, with flood warnings issued again as recently as 2026.
